The conference will also include a roundtable to discuss new class tools for polar navigation vessels. Alexey Zakharov, Head of the R&D and Engineering Division, will present up-to-date information on the ship’s Ice safety passport. RS is launching a service for the issuance of an Ice navigation ship certificate. As part of the service, an Ice safety passport is developed defining the safe parameters of a ship’s movement under various operating scenarios and in different ice conditions in view of a vessel's design features.
