Stages of Ship Security System Implementation

The article considers the stages of ship security system implementation under the provisions of the ISPS Code (the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code), Federal Law “On Transport Safety” and other normative documents. The authors describe such important issues as the possible threats analysis, technical security equipment design, assembly works, start-up and commissioning works, and equipment operation by the customer, post-warranty service. They also present the algorithm of technical security equipment design stages.
The stated materials are considered to be informative for marine industry experts dealing with the safety of marine facilities.
