Comparative Analysis of RS and IACS Requirements for Ice Box Capacity of Ice Class Ships

The article considers current requirements for ice box design and analyses the requirements for minimum ice box capacity of ice class ships as well as makes a comparative analysis of the requirements of IACS, the Register and the requirements to be found in other national normative documents on cooling system design.
