Wavelet-Transform- Based Component Identifi cation of Voltage Signal of Ship Electric Power System

The article is dedicated to solving the task of processing and review of composite supply voltage signal of the ship electric power system through constructing non-linear adaptive approximating circuits based on extrapolation filters using wavelet transform. The advisability has been substantiated of applying wavelet decomposition to determine the local particulars of supply voltage signal. The suggested method provides for monitoring power quality at points of common consumer connection (e. g. at main distribution board busbars) and for compensating disturbance in the supply main, if necessary.
