Basic Trends of Marine HF Radio Communication Improvement

It is demonstrated that in the northern latitudes above 70° in a A4 GMDSS area the only long-range communication mean is HF radio communication. The conclusion is made that existing HF radio stations shall be improved to provide efficient and reliable communication. Basic trends of improvement are provided.
