Optimization of Design Solutions for Improvement of Sea-worthiness Characteristics Based on the Results of the Prototype Ship Operation

The fundamental approach to comprehensive analysis of the prototype ship characteristics for further optimization of design solutions for improvement of seaworthiness characteristics of ships of a series is introduced. The comparative analysis of results of the model tests, engineering evaluation made by the specialized software NAPA and the full-scale tests of the prototype ship and the ship of a series is performed. The results of modernization of the prototype ship, enhancement of performance and habitable conditions on the ship of a series are presented.
