Assessment of negative vibration effects upon humans on board a ship in ice conditions

Vibration impacts on crew members of ice ships of the highest ice categories and icebreakers are analyzed. An approach is suggested for assessment of these impacts on the basis of operational monitoring. Results of research on developing the means for crew protection against local vibration are reported.
