Propeller operation in modern ice ships and development of Register rules

The review is made of propeller-ice interaction scenarios for ice ships determined within the framework of Federal Target Program "Development of Civil Marine Engineering for 2009 - 2016" and accepted as design modes when improving the requirements of the Register Rules for the Classification and Construction of Sea-Going Ships.
