Abstract

A new generation of high-speed marine diesel engines and generator sets built by "ZVEZDA", JSC is described, which were designed under the auspices of the Federal Target Program "National Technological Basis" in line with the strategic programs of native shipping revival and development as well as target programs for import substitution and Russian Navy development. Innovative design technology is described and a list given of consumer-oriented competitive advantages of the new engine generation which were implemented thus forecasting the promising applicability segments.
