Ballast water treatment plant operation on board ships

Abstract

The article contains requirements for shipowners based on the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships' Ballast Water and Sediments. A comparative study of ballast water treatment plants offered by different makers on the world market and their performance on board ships of РАО "Sovcomflot" is made.
