Ship energy audit as a method of continuous energy result improvement in the energy management system

Abstract

The article details the methodology of ship's energy audit based on the experience of РАО "Sovcomflot". For reference some extractions are presented from the ship's energy audit of the first Russian VLCC tanker DWT 320000 tons and product oil tanker DWT 74000 tons. The role of ship's energy audit in the company energy management system and its effect in the final energy results are defermined.
