Simulation Model-Based Determination of Hull Bending Moment Statistic Characteristics under Slamming

The article contains brief description of determining statistical characteristics of non-linear hull bending moment under slamming, as suggested by the author. The calculations are based on a simulation model, as developed by the author, using specialized software. The results of calculations by suggested methods and algorithms may be used for novel craft design, improvement of the normative documents requirements, assignment of service restrictions for ships with respect to slamming strength.
