Abstract
Provision of floodability is very essential for ships in service. Currently, significant progress has been evident in automation technologies for the assessment and monitoring of the ship's status, such as water level alarm system in compartments and draught control. The features of using the data of such systems and software are given, thus enabling to calculate the ship's trim and stability, based on the sensor data, as well as to display information on the ship's condition.
Keywords: Liquid cargo alarm systems and emergency water body, ship's trim monitoring (ship's draught control), floodability.
