Development of the innovative express diagnostics system for fishing vessels' refrigeration and technological complex

Abstract

JSC "GIPRORYBFLOT" in the framework of "Development of the innovative express diagnostics system for fishing vessels' refrigeration and technological complex" project began work on the development of a marine diagnostic facility for refrigerant leak detection in ship refrigeration systems. Among the main reasons for creating the installation to determine refregirant leakages are the requirements of the Register Rules, as well as the implementation of environmental protection requirements of international conventions. The system consists of a data acquisition system provided with a set of hardware and software designed to work with a personal computer and automatically collecting information about the physical parameters values at predetermined points of the object of study, as well as primary data processing, their further storage and transmission.

The leakage sensors operate on the principle of the sensitive element surface layer conductivity change in the interaction with the refrigerant vapors. The installation can be used on fishing vessels, refrigeration transport, all other types of ships, including gas carriers and ships of the Navy, and at shore facilities equipped with refrigeration units using different refrigerant agents. The prototype installation manufacturing and testing are essential for its successful practical implementation.
