Analysis of composition and properties of varnish and paints produced at the BIBI-EYBAT FACTORY of CJSC "ASCO"

Abstract

 

The article gives general characteristics of shipbuilding and ship repair in the Republic of Azerbaijan, together with the information regarding the main vendors of paints and varnishes applied on ships. The analysis of the composition and properties of the paint PF-115, manufactured at the CJSC "ASCO" "Bibi-Eybat" factory, is also presented in the article. General description of the factory paint production is given, as well as the information regarding the normative documents used. It is described that this paint is produced at the factory in eight colors for each part of the ship. The information is given regarding the components that are included in each paint during production, as well as the description of the equipment applied for paint production. The necessity for modernization of equipment, buying new equipment to improve the quality of the produced paint and varnishes.
