Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) has demonstrated excellent results, ranking among classification societies with the best performance indicators.

The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has approved Russia's proposals for the transportation of apatite concentrate, which were developed under Russian initiatives with the participation of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS).

From 21 to 25 July, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) will host the 11th session of the Sub-Committee on the Implementation of IMO Instruments at its London headquarters. The Russian delegation, including representatives from Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS), will take part in the event.

As members of the national delegation, experts of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) took part in the 110th session of the Maritime Safety Committee (MSC 110), held from 18 to 27 June 2025 at the headquarters of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), in London.

As part of the national delegation, Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) contributed to discussions at the UNECE Working Party on the Standardization of Technical and Safety Requirements in Inland Navigation, held at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. RS was represented by Sergey Legusha, Senior Principal Surveyor of the International Affairs Department.

Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) representative, Deputy Head of the Expertise and Engineering Department Albert Chernyshov attended the International Symposium on Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships (MASS). The event titled “Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships as a reality: the need for the IMO MASS Code” was organized jointly by the IMO Secretariat and the Norwegian Maritime Authority.

Today marked the opening of the 110th session of the Maritime Safety Committee (MSC 110) at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) headquarters in London. Representatives of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) have joined the proceedings as part of the national delegation.

On 28 May 2025, at the Kuwait Coast Guard Headquarters, a signing ceremony was held of the delegation of authority agreement between Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) and Kuwait Maritime Administration, represented by Kuwait Coast Guard.
