Currently, the cooperation with universities is implemented in the following main areas:

• Signing of agreements on cooperation in the field of the marine industry, education and science.

• Organization of annual competition among students of leading industrial universities for the best thesis. The goal is to stimulate recent graduates in marine studies to conduct scientific work on topics of applied relevance for the development of the normative framework of the Register.

• Participation of the Register personnel in state examination boards as chairmen or members of examination boards.
