Russian Maritime Register of Shippinh has released its Q1 2026 regulatory update for partners and clients, summarizing new requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) effective as of January 1, 2026.
The first IMO event of 2026 – the 12th session of the Sub-Committee on Ship Design and Construction (SDC 12) – held between January 19-23, will be attended by the Russian delegation, including representatives of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
The 34th session of the Assembly has concluded with the adoption of 22 resolutions on the strategic planning and management of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
